November 1 - SUNDAY
NORTH COUNTY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills. The 1st, 2nd & 5th Sunday of each month, meet at 9 am behind Barnes & Noble Bookstore in the Del Mar Highlands Shopping Ctr at the corner of Del Mar Heights Rd & El Camino Real, 1/2 mi E of I-5. Route & leaders vary each week. Come for the social pace of this ride of about 25 mi. Leader: Ron Manherz, 858-587-0272.

November 1 - SUNDAY
MISSION BAY TO IMPERIAL BEACH EXPRESS
Difficulty: over 35 mi, rolling hills, 12-14 mph average pace. Meet at 8:30 am at the De Anza Cove Mission Bay parking lot for a moderate ride to the Imperial Beach Pier. We will return through Balboa Park and stop in Old Town for lunch. Leader: Len Nathe, 858-270-2564.

November 8 - SUNDAY
NORTH COUNTY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills. November 8 - SUNDAY
CHAMPAGNE EXPRESS
Difficulty: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 14-16 mph average pace. Join us at 9 am in front of the Admin Bldg of the Lawrence Welk Resort (8860 Lawrence Welk Dr off Champagne Blvd 10 mi N of Escondido; Thos Bros 1089-A2) for a 40+ mi scenic loop over to Rainbow. This ride has four long uphill climbs, each followed by a spectacular downhill cruise. Bring $ for a mid-ride snack. Rain cancels. Leader: David Johnson, 858-483-5877.

November 8 - SUNDAY
TRI-AREA KNEE FRIENDLY RIDE
Difficulty: 14 to 20 mi, rolling hills, 12-14 mph average pace. Replacing gradual ascents for major climbs, we will selectively tour La Jolla, Pacific Beach and University City while maintaining a peppy pace for this approximate 18-20 mi ride. Cycle to the ride start for additional miles. No planned stops. Meet at UCSD John Muir Dr /Almahurst and Torrey Pines Rd at 9:00 am. From Torrey Pines Rd, follow signs to the UCSD Extension. November 11 - WEDNESDAY
COASTER NORTH, PIZZA SOUTH
Difficulty: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills. Meet at 9:30 am , Trophy’s parking lot, Costa Verde Shopping Center, La Jolla Village Drive and Genesee Ave, University City. We will ride to the Sorrento Valley Coaster Station, board Coaster #639 at 10:18 am to Oceanside, ride south along the coast stopping at Pizza Port in Solana Beach for energy to climb the Torrey Pines hill. November 14 - SATURDAY
LET’S DO A HIKE
Difficulty: up to 13 mi, basically flat. We’ll meet at 9:00 am for a socially-paced 6-8 mi hike at a beautiful county open space preserve near Poway . Bring a snack, plenty of water, sunscreen, and trail walking shoes or light hiking boots. Meeting location will be given when you RSVP. If less than 3 respond the hike will be canceled. November 15 - SUNDAY
MISSION BAY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills. On the 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month, join us for the Sunday Ride starting from Mission Bay. Meet at 9 am in the parking lot immediately north of the Mission Bay Visitor Center. Route & leaders vary each week. Come for the social pace of this ride of about 25 mi. November 15 - SUNDAY
DEL MAR TO RAMONA EXPRESS RIDE
Difficulty: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 12-14 mph average pace. Meet at 8:30 am behind Barnes & Noble Bookstore in the Del Mar Highlands Shopping Ctr at the corner of Del Mar Heights Rd & El Camino Real for a 55 mi ride to Ramona via Scripps Poway Pky and back via Highland Valley Road. Lots of hills. Route may be altered based on conditions. Call if weather is questionable. Leader: Tom Yager, 760-479-0187.

November 22 - SUNDAY
MISSION BAY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills. On the 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month, join us for the Sunday Ride starting from Mission Bay. November 22 - SUNDAY
ALPINE - PINE VALLEY LOOP JR EXPRESS
Difficulty: 21 to 35 mi, steep grade(s), 12-14 mph average pace. We will ride from Alpine to Pine Valley, partially on hard-pack dirt Viejas Grade Road (road bikes okay). After a short loop in Pine Valley we will return to Alpine via Japatul Road which has great downhills, mountain vistas and very little traffic. Come prepared for hills on this 45 mi ride. Optional lunch following the ride. Meet at 8:30 am in the Alpine park/community center parking lot. Exit I-8 at Tavern Rd., go S., turn left at Alpine Bl., go 600 feet and turn left into the parking lot (just past the corner strip-mall). Leader: Mark Ginsburg, 858-452-6237, Mobile: 858-722-1992.

November 28 - SATURDAY
ALPINE BREADBASKET RIDE
Difficulty: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 14-16 mph average pace. Meet at 8:15 am at the SE corner of Linda Vista Rd/Via Las Cumbres (parking available on Via Las Cumbres and at the County Bd of Education parking lot) for a hilly ride to Alpine with lunch at the Breadbasket Restaurant. Work off all of your Thanksgiving Day calories. Joint ride with San Diego Wheelmen. Rain cancels. Leader: Myles Pomeroy, 858-565-7262.

November 29 - SUNDAY

November 29 - SUNDAY
SLEEPING INDIAN EXPRESS RIDE
Difficulty: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 12-14 mph average pace. Meet at 8:15 am at Magee Park (Coast Hwy. and Beech Ave. in Carlsbad) for a moderate ride to Fallbrook with a steep climb up Sleeping Indian Rd. This is a joint ride with the Wheelmen. Leader: Len Nathe, 858-270-2564.
