This is a partial listing of our outings. The complete list along with our trips and social events is available to all members. See Membership Form. All outings listed are free of charge and open to public participation unless otherwise noted.

April 7 - SUNDAY
NORTH COUNTY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills.
The 1st, 2nd & 5th Sunday of each month, meet at 9 am at the Carmel Valley Community Center, 3777 Townsgate Drive, across the street from the Del Mar Highlands Shopping Center, 1/2 mi E of I-5. Route & leaders vary each week. Come for the social pace of this ride. Leader: Ron Manherz, 858-587-0272.

April 7 - SUNDAY
MISSION BAY TO LA COSTA EXPRESS RIDE
Difficulty Rating: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 12-14 mph average pace.
Meet at 8:30 am in the De Anza Cove parking lot of Mission Bay for a 51 mi ride along Rose Canyon through UCSD then up the coast to La Costa and back. We'll stop at Java Depot for snacks. Bring provisions, water and money. Leader: Dawn Nowlin, 858-254-8171.

April 14 - SUNDAY
NORTH COUNTY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills.

April 14 - SUNDAY
EAST COUNTY CREST EXPRESS RIDE
Difficulty Rating: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 12-14 mph average pace.
Meet at 8:15 am in the Jack In The Box/Denny’s parking lot at the corner of Navajo and Fletcher Parkway (Just off Hwy 125) for a hilly ride via Crest and Harbison Canyon before the weather gets too hot. Heat will result in a change of route and rain will cancel. Bring money for snack stop. Joint ride with SD Wheelmen. Leader: Suzanne Behrendt, 619-733-9384.

April 21 - SUNDAY
MISSION BAY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills.
On the 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month, join us for the Sunday Ride starting from Mission Bay. Meet at 9 am in the parking lot immediately north of the Mission Bay Visitor Center. Route & leaders vary each week. Come for the social pace of this ride. Leader: Fern Siegel, 619-583-3261.

April 21 - SUNDAY
CHAMPAGNE EXPRESS
Difficulty Rating: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 14-16 mph average pace.
Meet at 8:30 am in front of the Admin Bldg of the Lawrence Welk Resort (8860 Lawrence Welk Dr off Champagne Blvd, 10 mi N of Escondido; Thos Bros 1089-A2). This 41 mi ride includes a scenic loop over to Rainbow, with four long uphill climbs, each followed by a spectacular downhill cruise. Bring $ for a mid-ride snack. Rain cancels. April 21 - SUNDAY
NORTH COUNTY COAST RIDE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, steep grade(s), 12-14 mph average pace.
Meet at UCSD John Muir Dr /Almahurst and Torrey Pines Rd at 9:00 am for a ~30 mi scenic bike ride out and back along the coast. We will head north following the marked bike route, and climb Torrey Pines grade on the return. Plan on minimal regroups and a snack stop en route. Bring money and snacks. From Torrey Pines Rd, follow the sign to the UCSD Extension where Sunday unreserved lot parking is free. Bathrooms by P304. Add more miles by cycling to meeting point. Rain cancels. April 27 - SATURDAY
LAGUNA TRIANGLE
Difficulty Rating: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 12-14 mph average pace.
We'll ride the 45 mi triangle, CCW, beginning with a 12 mi assent up Sunrise Hwy to the top of Mt Laguna. After picking up a snack at the store ($) we'll continue on to Lake Cuyamaca and then on to the start. Meet at 9:00 am behind Major's Coffee Shop in Pine Valley on Old Highway 80. Wear a bright colored jersey. Leader: Mark Ginsburg, 858-722-1992.

April 28 - SUNDAY

Meet at 8:30 am at Mission Bay Park, De Anza Cove parking lot, for a 42 mi ride up Calle Cristobal, then up Pomerado Rd with a snack stop. Joint ride with SD Wheelmen. Rain cancels. Leader: Myles Pomeroy, 858-565-7262.

April 28 - SUNDAY
RANCHO SANTA FE JR EXPRESS RIDE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills, 12-14 mph average pace.
This peppy-paced, 35 mi ride goes to Del Sur and around quiet Rancho Santa Fe roads. Meet at 8:45 am at the Souplantation restaurant, Carmel Creek Rd. exit off the SR56 freeway. Joint ride with SD Wheelmen social riders. Lunch at the end if interested. Call first if threat of rain. Leader: Carol Carr, 858-481-7425.
