May 26 - SUNDAY
MISSION BAY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills.
On the 3rd and 4th Sunday of each month, join us for the Sunday Ride starting from Mission Bay. Meet at 9 am in the parking lot immediately north of the Mission Bay Visitor Center. Route & leaders vary each week. Come for the social pace of this ride. Leader: Jerry Fitzsimmons, 858-224-3437, .

May 26 - SUNDAY
UC TO S. CARLSBAD EXPRESS RIDE
Difficulty Rating: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 12-14 mph average pace.
Meet at 8:30 am at Doyle Park, 8175 Regents Rd, 2 blocks south of La Jolla Village Dr. for this ride of about 50 mi to S. Carlsbad via RSF. Coastal return. Snack stop ($). Leader: Mark Ginsburg, 858-722-1992.

May 26 - SUNDAY
MIRAMAR LAKE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills, 12-14 mph average pace.
This peppy-paced, 35 mi ride goes east to Poway and around Miramar Lake then returns through Mira Mesa and Sorrento Valley. Bring a snack for a stop at the lake. Meet at 8:45 am (for a 9:00 am departure) at Souplantation restaurant, Carmel Creek Rd. exit off the SR56 freeway. Joint ride with SD Wheelmen. Call first if threat of rain. May 27 - MONDAY
MEMORIAL DAY HUFF N' PUFF N' PIG-OUT
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, moderate hills, 12-14 mph average pace.
Meet at 10 am for a Memorial Day ride. Bring your bathing suit if you want to cool off after the ride. Afterwards we'll fire up the grill and pig-out on the patio. Bring something to grill, your own drinks and a side dish or desert to share. Just want to pig out, come at 1:00 pm. June 2 - SUNDAY
NORTH COUNTY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills.
The 1st, 2nd & 5th Sunday of each month, meet at 9 am at the Carmel Valley Community Center, 3777 Townsgate Drive, across the street from the Del Mar Highlands Shopping Center, 1/2 mi E of I-5. Route & leaders vary each week. Come for the social pace of this ride. Leader: Ron Manherz, 858-587-0272.

June 2 - SUNDAY
MISSION BAY EXPRESS RIDE
Difficulty Rating: over 35 mi, moderate hills, 14-16 mph average pace.
Meet at 8:30 am at DeAnza Cove in Mission Bay Park for a 45 mi ride north and inland as temperatures permit and back along the coast. Rain cancels. Leader: David Johnson, 858-483-5877.

June 9 - SUNDAY
NORTH COUNTY SUNDAY RIDE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills.

MISSION BAY EXPRESS RIDE
Difficulty Rating: over 35 mi, steep grade(s), 14-16 mph average pace.
With June being Hill Climbing Month, let's do some climbing. Meet at 8:30 am at DeAnza Cove, Mission Bay Pk for this 42 mi ride featuring 3 hills - Mt Soledad, La Jolla Shores & Torrey Pines. Snack stop at Java Depot. Joint ride with SD Wheelmen. Leader: Myles Pomeroy, 858-565-7262.

June 16 - SUNDAY
MISSION BAY SUNDAY RIDE

Meet at 8:30 am at DeAnza Cove in Mission Bay Park for a 42 mi loop out the Hwy 56 bike path and down Black Mtn Rd. Rain cancels. Leader: David Johnson, 858-483-5877.

June 16 - SUNDAY
NORTH COUNTY COAST RIDE
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, steep grade(s), 12-14 mph average pace.
Meet at UCSD John Muir Dr /Almahurst and Torrey Pines Rd at 9:00 am for a ~30 mi scenic bike ride out and back along the coast. We will head north following the marked bike route, and climb Torrey Pines grade on the return. Plan on minimal regroups and a snack stop en route. Bring money and snacks. From Torrey Pines Rd, follow the sign to the UCSD Extension where Sunday unreserved lot parking is free. Bathrooms by P304. Add more miles by cycling to meeting point. Rain cancels. JR EXPRESS TO KEARNY VILLA
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, rolling hills, 12-14 mph average pace.
This peppy-paced, 35 mi ride goes south to Kearny Villa Rd. and back, stopping for coffee in Mira Mesa. Meet at 8:45 am (for a 9:00 am departure) at Souplantation restaurant, Carmel Creek Rd. exit off the SR56 freeway. Call first if threat of rain. Joint ride with SD Wheelmen. June 23 - SUNDAY
TIJUANA ESTUARY LOOP
Difficulty Rating: 21 to 35 mi, basically flat, 10-12 mph average pace.
From downtown San Diego, let's head to Coronado via Gordy Shields Bridge and The Strand, visiting Tijuana Estuary Nature Preserve en route. We'll also trace the Bayshore Bike Path through the wetlands and past the salt flats. Expect 30 easy miles. Snack at a pier-side café in Imperial Beach. Head home at your leisure via the Coronado ferry ($4.25 with bike). Meet at 9:00 am on Harbor Drive in front of the San Diego County Administration Building (1600 Pacific Highway between Ash & Cedar. Meet at 8:30 am at the Carmel Valley Community Center northeast parking lot, 3777 Townsgate Dr for this Harmony Grove/Elfin Forest loop ride. Snack stop in San Elijo Hills. 45 mi. Leader: Hao Zhang, 858-623-0628.
