Land Use Committee

Purpose

  • To follow land use and development proposals throughout the two-county region.
  • Review and comment on environmental impact reports, scoping documents, and give testimony at public hearings.
  • Make recommendations to local jurisdictions and planning agencies on responsible development strategies.
  • Example Activities

  • Aggregate mine proposals
  • Land acquisition recommendations
  • General Plan 2020 zoning analysis and comment
  • Meetings
    7:00 P.M. the 4th Monday of each month (Urban Environment Forum) at the chapter office.
