Sierra Singles
If you are interested in finding out more about all the different groups in the
Sierra Club, an excellent way is to attend one of our monthly orientation presentations.
Here, representatives from many of the sections will give a short talk on the
purpose and activities of their section. If you like what you hear you can sign
up on the spot.
Orientations are generally held on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 pm
at the Mission Valley Branch Library, Seminar Room A 2123 Fenton Parkway, San Diego. (Friars Road south on Fenton Parkway, next to IKEA) 
Annual
membership is $17 if you desire the printed version of "The Happenings!" mailed
to you. This will increase to $20 beginning January 1, 2010. Annual membership is $10 if you want the email only version of "The
Happenings!" Most of our events are free, and you can even
bring a guest who's not a member. Some dances and special events require a
separate fee to cover the costs. Movies and dinners are organized, but you pay your own costs. A few activities ask for
a small donation for some Sierra Club fund, but all costs are clearly spelled
out in the published information.

how do I Join?
You can join the Sierra Singles for 1 year for
$10 - $17 depending on the delivery option.
It is $17 for the paper version and $10 for the email only version. This gives you our activities publication and a low cost way to try it out and
see if it's for you. You will usually receive 24 hour response when you send in the membership form.

After one year you need to also become a member of the Sierra Club Main
Chapter to maintain
your membership in the Sierra Singles.
