We are a group of single adults, 21 and over, who share a common interest in enjoying and protecting nature. Our section conducts about 50 different activities every month.

All this for a minimal fee which gets you a subscription to our weekly email updates and the bi-monthy newsletter, "The Happenings!" and free admission to most activities. The publications include both Siera Singles and the Main Chapter activities. Feel free to meet with us at one of our monthy orientation meetings. They occur on the first Monday evening of the month from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. at the Serra Mesa - Kearny Mesa Branch Library, 9005 Aero Dr., San Diego CA 92123.

Who Are We?

We're people just like you. Single by choice or by happenstance. Some looking for relationships, some just enjoying the camaraderie and friendship. You may be into the hiking side of things, and this is a great way to find places to hike and people to hike with. Or, you may like dancing, movies or dinner with other singles. There's plenty of things to do. Of course, the best is to enjoy a little of everything. And we encourage you to do just that. Sometimes it takes a lot of will power to try something new. If you do try one of our activities and don't care for it, congratulate yourself for giving it a shot and then try something else. If you don't like the hikes, you may like the movies. Or, try the same type of activity with a different leader or at a different difficulty rating. Start with a strenuous hike only if you've already done a lot of hiking and know your capabilities. We hope you give it a try.
