NEW YEARS BEAR VALLEY CROSS-COUNTRY SKI BUS TRIP

We brought in the new year at Bear Valley where we stayed in condos at the ski area and enjoyed three full days of both cross-country and downhill ski options. Bear Valley is located in the Sierras between Yosemite and Tahoe in Alpine County. The area has an extensive cross-country track system, a downhill resort, miles of backcountry skiing, and telemark opportunities. We brought in the New Year with an eminently successful progressive dinner. Beginners received training and guidance. Cost was $360, which included transportation, lodging and instruction; this was a chapter fundraiser.
