Nov 9, Dec 14, Jan 11, Feb 8, Mar 8, and Apr 12. PROGRAMS NEEDED!! Beginner class at 6PM, trip descriptions at 7PM, Program at 7:30. Clairemont Community Room, Clairemont Town Square Shopping Center, 4731 Clairemont Dr (on Lakehurst Ave), Thomas Brothers 1248E1. Look for the City of San Diego Community Office on the south side of the driveway between Von's and Big Lots.

Nov 23-26, MAMMOTH THANKSGIVING, All levels. Homey condo accommodations, a bountiful Thanksgiving dinner and (with help from mother nature) great skiing. Price is about $250 for 4 nights lodging and two dinners. Carpooling is encouraged. Send $25 deposit (payable to Sierra Club) to Ski Section, 4017 Mt Blackburn Ave, San Diego, CA 92111-3818. Dec 28-Jan 1, NEW YEARS BEAR VALLEY CROSS COUNTRY SKI BUS TRIP, Beginner to Advanced. Come join us to bring in the New Year at Bear Valley, one of our favorite ski haunts in the Sierras. We will be staying in fully equipped condos at the ski area itself, making it convenient for skiers to choose between the many ski options available. There is an extensive track system, a downhill area, and miles of backcountry trails at our finger tips. There are several restaurant options close by for those who donít want to cook. Your cost of $380 covers lodging, transportation, and instruction. Beginners are welcome. 2007

JAN 12-15, TIOGA PASS WINTER RESORT. Int. to adv. skiers. Ski to a snowed-in lodge on the east side of Yosemite with heated cabins, showers, etc. The food is outstanding, lodge is cozy and company great! Cost is about $400 per person. Includes 6 delicious meals and lodging. Carpool and 1st night motel is not included. Chapter fund raiser. Trip is limited to 12. FEB 15-19, 23rd ANNUAL YOSEMITE CROSS COUNTRY SKI BUS TRIP, all levels. This trip is fun for families and beginners. You don't even have to ski to enjoy Yosemite! Cost: $520 (two per room), $425 (3 per room), or $386 (4 per room) - two beds per room. Includes all bus transportation, first night motel, 3 nights at Yosemite Lodge, and ski instruction. All prices are per-person. Meals are not included. Ski and snowshoe rentals available. Feb 25-Mar 3, YELLOWSTONE IN WINTER (Trip full, email Jackie to get on waiting list) Difficult for beginners. Price includes 2 nights at Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and 4 nights at Old Faithful Snow Lodge, breakfast each day, hot tub at Mammoth, welcome gift, 10% discount card for gift shop, all transportation to and from the airport and within the park, including ski drops and a tour of the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, San Diego Chapter leaders, taxes and gratuities. This is a Chapter Fundraiser. Staying in lodge rooms at both Mammoth and Old Faithful = $1953, or Lodge room at Mammoth and in a cabin a few feet away from the lodge at Old Faithful = $1908. Lodging choices are based on double occupancy - your own bed and bathroom in room. Single rooms are available for additional cost. Mar 23-25, WBC SNOW CAMP (not a ski section outing), sign up for the Wilderness Basics Course in January.

Apr 13-15, CLAIR TAPPAAN LODGE. Historic Sierra Club lodge at Donner Pass. All levels welcome. Lessons extra. Easy touring, downhill resorts, track skiing. Fly to Sacramento, rental van to the Lodge. All transportation, lodging, and meals at CTL included. Cost estimated at $350. Coordinator: Patty Dahl

APR27-30. SIERRA SKI BACKPACK. 4 day/3 night spring ski expedition in the Sierra Nevada Mtns. Snow camping experience required. Strong skiers only. Jim Crouch


Refund Policy: Note that sickness or injury does not play a part in refunds. You may purchase travel insurance from any travel agent. Travel insurance usually covers sickness, injury, family emergencies, lost luggage etc.

Full Refund: 1. We cancel the trip or 2. The leader determines you shouldn't be on the trip or 3. You find your own replacement and they reimburse you.

Partial Refund: 1. We find your replacement and keep only your deposit or 2. We can't replace you, but we get a refund (or are not charged) by our providers because of your absence. You get back whatever we get back.
